I wanted to send everyone an update on Coop's progress.
Overall Cooper is doing better, he has days, where we think he is doing amazing things and then some tough days also, but overall we are very happy where he is after being in this school for 6 months.
He is speaking spontaniously much more than he used to and asking a few more questions. He is starting to get really frustrated sometimes and you can tell he is searching for the words to say, but they are not coming out. Autism is so hard to understand, it is so frustrating, things that come so easy and normal for most kids are such hard work for kids with autism.
We are so proud of Cooper and how hard he works every day. As you know he goes to school 5 days a week, and on Mondays and fridays he goes to speech therapy from 4 to 5pm and on wednesdays he does occupational therapy for 1 hour after school, so he is putting in about 35 hors per week. We are seeing so many improvements with his speaking and him staying more calm around other kids. We want to thank you all for your prayers for our family and the gifts you have sent us. We are planning another garage sale at the end of May. The one in October paid for 1 month of Cooper's school, which was awesome. We are trying to pull off raising 2 months tuition at this next garage sale. You have 3 months to start saving things, clothes, books, dvds, really sold well last time so keep your eye out for those items.
Also an quick update on Christian......He will be 10 months old tommorow and he is progressing very well, we have been keeping a close eye on him and we feel as he is up to speed and actually a little bit ahead of schedule with his progressing.
Thanks again.
We love you all
Tim, Britt, Coop, and Christian
