Brittney and I wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers and well wishes, and the gifts we have recieved......You all mean so much to us.
God has blessed our family in so may ways. Cooper has helped us to grow closer together as a family, grow closer to our friends, and grow closer to God. He is truly a blessing in so many ways.
I am going to add a new Blog soon on the treatment that Cooper is recieving from Care Clinics. It is an amazing place and we have a lot of hope in what it can do for Cooper.
I just wanted to share a quick story with you.
As many of you know, Coops Tuition is around 3k per month and his treatments at the Care Clinic are 600 per chelation I.V. treatment. God continues to provide us with what we need.
We have a friend from church who is a school teacher. He didnt tell Brittney and I he was doing this, but on Thanksgiving night, he called me to come over to his house. He said he had something to give us. So once we got the boys to bed, I went over to his home. When I got there he went over to his Christmas Tree and brought me a bag with something in it. It was very heavy. When I opened the bag, there was a huge jug full of change and dollar bills, on the side of it, it had a picture of Cooper and said, "Help Cooper Cornwell fight Autism".
Our friend had told his class about Cooper and had decided to have a fundraiser for Coop. His students would dump there extra change in the jug, in between classes they would take it through the halls and the entire school was aware of what was going on. They raised change and dollar bills for 3 weeks.....ther was over 650.00 dollars in the jug. It was amazing. The beauty of it was how interested and caring my friend students were. They were all on Coop's website, and asking questions about Coop and really cared for him.
We here so much bad news all the time. Bad things usually make the news. It is so refreshing to know there are so many good folks out there, that would care about a special needs kid and his family that they do not even know. One amazing thing to me was that our friend told us that a lot of the kids did not come from wealthy families with a lot of extra money to spare, but they had big hearts and wanted to see Cooper get better.
As tough as life has been and as bad as we want cooper to recover, we have learned so much and have seen God work in so many ways, that we may not have if Cooper was a typical kid. We pray everyday for God to heal Cooper and we have the faith that he will. We beleive that everything happens for a reason, and we are so blessed to have Cooper and also very blessed to go through what we have been through, because it has made us better people in so many ways.
Brittney and I want to Thank you all so very much for all that you have done. We ask that you continue to pray for us during these next few months as we continue to fight to get Cooper the help he needs.
God bless you all and Merry Christmas.
